Forward bends - The Yogic or subtle physiology
The forward bending is quietening closing the chakras of from looking in the future
For some they may find that the forward motions difficult due to the back chakras of the past are exposed
Can be interpreted as humbling as bowing, thus some strong people may have difficulties in doing this
Cooling pose, so engaging Ida rather than Pingala.
Quietening of the lower chakras, as its almost like an energy lock and then coming out of the psoas then is like a flooding healing
Pratayhaya a closing of stimuli
Support the third eye
Allows the opportunity to look inwards and explore the self
