It may take a little while to discover what Yoga teacher training to undertake. With so many competing styles and Yoga teaching courses today, beginning Yoga teacher training can be a confusing matter: Iyengar, Ashtanga, Power, Vinyasa, Bikram, Kundalini, and many other forms of Yoga training are offered. You'll find the format of training varies from place to place. Some of the styles and courses may claim that they alone will give you what you are looking for. Some of these courses are the equivalent of fast food restaurants; franchised and completely removed of any spiritual aspect. Other courses of Yoga offer much more qualitative teaching but how do you to choose from this overwhelming menu?
If you are just starting out looking for what the options, a good place is to speak with your yoga teacher or people that you know have completed some yoga teacher training. Ask to Yoga School/ faculty for references - real students past and maybe present.
